Drake Milligan is a rising country music artist from Mansfield, Texas, known for his deep baritone voice and sounds that blends classic honky-tonk with rock 'n' roll energy. Often called the "New Elvis of Country," Milligan has successfully transitioned from a breakout television actor to a chart-topping recording artist.
Early Life and "The King" Connection
Born on June 1, 1998, Milligan was raised in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. His musical journey began at age seven when he saw an Elvis Presley impersonator at a local burger joint, an experience that inspired him to start performing. Throughout his teens, he traveled across Texas performing as a tribute artist. In 2017, he landed the role of a young Elvis Presley in the CMT miniseries Sun Records. Here is his song Sounds Like Something I’d Do!

Bottomland is a breakout country-rock duo from Conroe, Texas, consisting of singer-songwriters Cannon Brand and Justin Lane Gates. The two formed Bottomland in late 2024 and quickly built a massive following with a gritty sound described as a blend of Southern rock, traditional country roots, and high-energy rebellion. Their debut March 2025 single, "Over You, Over It," rapidly surpassed 1 million streams. They achieved heavy rotation on Spotify editorial playlists like All New Country and Next From Nashville. The band's roots trace back to Odessa, Texas, where Jeremiah Vanley, Cody Holloway, and Andrew Carey originally jammed as a classic rock cover band called Free Spirit. Practicing in the back room of a local vacuum cleaner repair shop, they were eventually joined by Jeremiah’s nephew, Lance. When their original singer left, Sam Canty stepped in to audition. Instead of sticking to covers, Canty introduced his own original songwriting, instantly reshaping the band’s identity and direction.
The group rebranded as Treaty Oak Revival, choosing a name inspired by the historic Treaty Oak tree in Austin, Texas, combined with a stylistic nod to Creedence Clearwater Revival. Listen to Missed Call HERE I think you’ll like it!
See You Next Week! - Andy
