Blackberry Smoke is an American Southern rock band formed in 2000 in Atlanta. Blending Southern rock, country rock, and blues influences, the group is known for its rootsy sound and emphasis on touring and live performances.
The band was founded by singer and guitarist Charlie Starr along with guitarist Paul Jackson, bassist Richard Turner, and drummer Brit Turner. Over time, keyboardist Brandon Still joined, helping shape their signature sound.
